Well, here is a subject of growing popularity!
It is becoming so popular that people use it left and right.
I'm saying that with a happy face (overall). :))) and :((
Happy because more and more people get to learn about it.
My discontent comes from the fact that it tends to be misleading and to be misused sometimes in different marketing gimmicks and tricks.

here is the dilemma:
sometimes people say "Certified Organic SPA", great sounding name-Yes?!!!
but wait a minute, who gives that designation? .... nobody! (the genius of wording and a marketing gimmick)

Where Does the Name "CURA" Come From?

Let's start with some history of the word CURA:
1. The word CURE comes from the Latin CURA meaning care, concern or attention. The current use of the word cure is believed to reflect the belief that the right "care,concern and attention were tantamount to a cure".
2. And then there is the English word, CURE, the holy grail of medicine. It is derived from the Latin, CURA, meaning to care or to be concerned.
3. Cura - (Latin) meaning: management, administration, care, concern, charge.
4. Cura - (Latin) thoughtfulness.

our first monetary donation to American Red Cross for Japan

As time passes by, we (humans) tend to forget yesterday's worries and focus on something more recent.
We here at CURA Holistic Health and Massage Center LLC started the "20forjapan.com" campaign to help the Japanese people recover from the tsunami on march 11.2011.
As of May 26 2011 we have collected and donated $575.00 to the American Red Cross for the Japan disaster.This was done with check # 1026 on May 26.2011.
Thank you to all participated and donating in some cases more than the $20 suggested amount (hence the 575.00 dollar count).
